Been down that a few times , not seen many bikers recently , which for me is good ,I like the run down the N147... Feels like an old friend when I have used it... Sadly, not since 2018

Not at all, driven down past Dijon and Troyes many a time, always thought what wonderful agricultural land it was, yes possibly a bit lacking of foliage, but then it’s the arable bread basket of France, no worse than the fens, or Wolds,I think you mean vocabulary. (Sorry couldn't help it and no- one likes a smart arse.)
I think you are getting confused with the areas described and in the pictures above, which were being discussed, and other parts of France.
Loads of hedge hereLooks no different from east anglia
Same thing down here in good old Holland, hedges around land is pretty much an exclusive for estates. If there where grants for them it might be different ofcourse.I’ve always found it quite ironic that largely left leaning eco types are very attached to hedges which are essentially a symbol from history of an aristocratic land grab.
Don’t get me wrong - I love a good hedge. They aren’t natural though.
Which one ? There's 14 !Give me the "big girls route" Caen everyday .
I can also recommend Limoges hospital for those inconvenient tib & fib repairs
Not my experience of The Netherlands !yep Always made me smile , f**k all hedges in vast swathes of France Belgian Holland yet their women are very bushy
So not really like East Anglia then...Yes, but isn’t it tidy, no rubbish, no overhanging branches on roads,
Porquoi?Been down that a few times , not seen many bikers recently , which for me is good ,
Unhealthy lot those French....?Which one ? There's 14 !
Wish we still had Parish sidesmen here....Plenty of hedges central france , they don't cut them though , Maires office tidys up the roadsides
I had a bit of a discussion with an eco freak who told me that animals shouldn't be turned out in fields as they damaged the hedges. Um - weren't hedges planted in the first place to keep animals in?I’ve always found it quite ironic that largely left leaning eco types are very attached to hedges which are essentially a symbol from history of an aristocratic land grab.

Yes, poor things; but some Friesians do sound almost human, and some Bretons entirely so.Have you noticed they also drive on the other side of the road and they speak a language different to yours, crazy isn't it?
We do have that in common I suppose, a part of the country with an unphantomable language who keep insisting it is legit.Yes, poor things; but some Friesians do sound almost human, and some Bretons entirely so.
I have no idea what you mean by that, and nor would the great TS either. We do have that in common I suppose, a part of the country with an unphantomable language who keep insisting it is legit.
Yes... I too was joking.I do not have the foggiest what is the great ts so hey.
I was trying to be funny but you only really get the joke when you know the friesians here have there own nutty language, as do you welsh have.
Jokes are not my strong suit but I try nonetheless .
