That's if the company even survives that long. They can say anything, but doing is the important thing. They said there was a new Defender coming for fifteen years, but although they have launched a new vehicle with that name at last, it is not what anyone expected a 'Defender' to be, so really they still haven't.

I would love an electric vehicle with quiet high power. Especially one that can tow 3.5 tons for 300 miles or more between charges. My next car is very likely to be electric but unlikely to be a plug-in all-electric Land Rover.

Yeah but that is built in France from German components and the company is owned by a hypocrite. More seriously it just seems not much of an upgrade from the old Defender which was designed in the late 1970's for a 1983 launch. I'm sure it will be safer and more refined and roomier for the front occupants, but surely they could have had an original thought in the design of this thing.

There is no dispute that as a pickup, van or chassis-cab it will be far more suitable for farmers and utility companies than the new 'Defender' which is only an expensive toy for big wealthy boys really.

You need to invest in coal Rob not copper, they've got generate the electricity to able to charge the batteries somehow!!!!

And by all accounts, we will be burning coal for a long time yet as the steel ndustry still needs it and I cant see anyone managing without steel for very long

They build the reactors already for our submarine fleet.Small enough to fit in a 20ft container.

There is that but the iPace is Austrian from an Indian company. Granted it is preferable to supporting the barbaric and aggressive Chinese Communist Party, which is what everyone does when buying a Chinese product from a Chinese company.

I am trying to have my own Chinese boycott, not easy though when you look into things but we need to stop financing our enemies.
