Where is the drain plug for the bed on a 1365? i haven't got a manual and cant seem to find any online for reference.

There's a bracket/plate on the end of the bed. 2 Allen head bolts. Take that up but Jack one end up first

replaced the cap screws on ours as they were worn to the point they weren't going to come out again without a struggle.

Also we often backed the mower up on a high heap of gravel to get it to drain properly

It's 1.6 litres in a 55 and 2 litres in a 65 no more or you will cause overheating because you will get hyd gear pump effect,always drain warm and leave it for a while if you can

I got about 1.8ltr out of my 1365 bed overnight, oil looked fine so will replace with 2ltrs

I always use loctite when putting end bracket screws back on and usually a new gasket

My mower has a set of spread veins and swath boards. What should the arrangement be ? Is it with the veins on remove the doors completely for a wide spread and vice versa?

I got about 1.8ltr out of my 1365 bed overnight, oil looked fine so will replace with 2ltrs

I usually fill the bed with diesel , give it a run and let it out, amazing how much dirt comes out. Drain well and then fill with oil.

I've just done 8 mowers like that in last few weeks. Usually use hydraulic oil if original oil comes out clean enough

Those pottingers would need to be flushed out more often than the John deeres a lot more shite in them !!!!!

Because I have John deere mowers and agriknives has pottinger hence the exclamation marks

Not questioning ur knowledge on the subject but that answer doesnt explain how u know pottinger beds will be full of shite?

will you lighten up ,i dont know what a pottinger bed looks like inside i just do up mainly kuhn taarup and johndeere beds

I got it eventually. I think it was aimed at the poster not the mower

Don't think john deere are still making the 1365 at all. At least production was to end this yr.
Pity as they are a good product especially for the man who doesn't want a mounted one busting tractor cross shaft.
