Hi guys. I am trying (so far in vain!) to locate a driveshaft yoke for the primary driveshaft, that runs through the grain tank on a jd 9780 or cts. Part number H158816. or a complete shaft AH151618. It is a Dana spicer driveshaft, with sticker number 090DS45002-5406 on the shaft (also casting number F902819 on shaft) The yoke (bit I need) has numbers 901191 and M280 SPR on the casting. Any ideas please on dealers, breakers (I have tried Manners and waiting for BBurgess to come back), or any Dana spider suppliers. I am sitting here in disbelief as JD just say "obsolete" !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both these break a lot of USA made combines and will ship to europe. Shipping is dear and can take two weeks or more so may be too late for you but you never know?

Thanks.....have tried both with no luck. .....well actually they are unsure why part numbers not matching. They think European models have completely different drive shafts 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

You will need to convert from inches but the american part H121681 is listed in a couple of places as a substitute for H158816 so you might get lucky

H121681 is listed by Dana as using a 1480 series UJ (1.375"cap X 4.188"span) with the following spec

27 SPLINE

1.751" = APPROX SPLINE INSIDE MAJOR DIAMETER

2.063" = APPROX LENGTH THRU SPLINED HOLE

2.500" = APPROX OUTSIDE GROUND HUB / SEALING DIAMETER

4.125" = APPROX LENGTH, CENTER OF UJ CAP TO END OF SPLINE

Fantastic! where did you find the Dana listing....? Do you have cap diameter and distance across caps please?

Not the same....much smaller cap size and span😢😢 Diameter of shaft way smaller Id say.
Measurements are correct except for those. I need cap size 41mm (1.61") and s
dist across caps to be 128mm (5.04") approx
Do you have access to the Dana listings?

No Good either (even though casting number same🤷‍♀️). Has to have spline hole all way through (to enable shaft to be fitted into place) and mine has strap and stud holding caps. Mine looks much heavier I think....thanks anyway- much appreciated
