Kuhn power harrow tines - any decent long lasting ones around?

As the title really. We have 3 Kuhn power harrows with quick release tines. We were changing a set every couple of days this spring as the land dried out and wore them faster.

Have tried Pan Anglia hard faced tines but at 4x the price they didn't last 4x as long. We're on stony and occasionally sandy clay soils.

Crikey our 5m has just got to it's 4 spring before a change, doesn't get used in every field but I guess it's done a lot more than one of yours could do in 2 days

Have you had any tungsten ones , get some with tiles welded on front , have a word with mike metcalfe ,not far from you ,or young , ryecroft at flaxton ,he is on with some fancy stuff , put on with welding ,diamond dust ,supposed to be hard wearing ,
what stone have you ,

We'll be doing 3-400 acre on a set of genuine kuhn on a 4m on some pretty abrasive stuff. The older type harrows were cheap to run but the new ones are different are running hard faced but don't really get any longer out them as we run out of depth with the power harrow before the tines are worn out now

kuhn tines @£7/7.50 each hard facing from agriparts @£26 each, supposed to last 3to4 times as long, time will tell as we put a set on a 4m last backend, only done @350ac with it so far, but with normal ones being so cheap in comparison and easier to change on Qfit system the fancy ones will have to last a lot longer to be worth it

A set in a couple of days o_O
Don’t begrudge the £20 a time for my Lemken ones so much after reading that.
Getting 650-700 acres from a set of them on a 3m.
Amazone KG’s that I ran previously would last around 350-400 acres

Tried different ones on my Amazone KG and they are all much of a muchness unless you go for the special hard wearing ones with tiles etc.

Doubt mine would ever get more than 150ac out of a set, battering hard heavy clay clods into shape. 😒😒

Once took a set off a 6m Amazone KG in 90ac. Rained before we got the next set fitted, the extra moisture meant after 200ac there wasn't much wear on them

I’ve been using this on my sumo trio points and I’m very impressed with it, they are lasting at least 3 times longer than standard. I’ve not had any on powerharrow yet but that is my next place to try.

If its that hard and dry the best thing for heavy land is a trailed press with leading tines towing a flat roller. We got caught one year with a field like that two or three passes with that rig at speed and it was straight in with the combi.
I couldn't believe the job it made.

Do you know Kuhn tines fit the amazone. Usually cheaper.
Edit @quattro beat me to it. Should have refreshed page before posting.
