Don't let this turn into a thread about various pick ups. I've got 3 different makes so know a bit. Need to get a second hand pick up for someone and seen an L200 with Truckman Top and tow bar fitted, so these 2 extras will save me nearly £2k over any truck that doesn't have them. It's a 2017 Trojan with about 30k on and seemed reasonable money compared to other marques. Have never looked at a Mitsubishi so after some info.
Are they 5 yr warranty?

Any info good or bad appreciated

If it’s 2017 wont b Trojan I’ve two think they stopped at 2015 probably a titan if it is it’s mid spec so has the super select gearbox so can run in 4wd in the road but probably less goodies in the cab

Looks a bit gay the L200 imo . better parked outside a hairdressers
 I’ve got two here with well over 300k between them, not worth much but they don’t owe me much!

They had a whole lot of head gasket failures around the time that was built and for a couple of years prior, possibly longer. The failed engines were sent away to a specialist to be repaired rather than new engines being fitted, even under warranty. They sorted the issue, supposedly, when the five year warranty was introduced. Check the warranty on that one but I'm fairly sure it will have the three year one. It's worth finding out for sure. Check its service history to see whether the engine has been rebuilt.

It will b a five year warranty I think depending on mileage as I think it came in around 2013 trucks so the one your looking at will still have a bit of warranty left

Good honest truck, only issue I’ve had was the jumping out of 3rd gear sorted under warranty. Nice truck, plenty of power and not as skippy on the back end as the previous challenger. Good on fuel, approx 32mpg on all terrains local running, maybe 35 on motorway. The oil pump won’t sh!t itself like a ranger Or split in half like a navara or drink the fuel of a hilux having to tow the fuel bowser about ?

Oil pump on mine went and knocked the bearings out of the bottom end.
