No, not that simple. Depends on replication and a lot of complicated maths. With that range in the untreated, likely to need more than 5% to be significant.

As you say, probably needs 20 years of replication to be confident!

On the subject of amino acid stimulants, i somehow found myself reading ADMs' terms and conditions at midnight the other day.
They specifically prohibit the use of Amino A and other similar hydrolysed protein products on crops grown for human consumption.
I am guessing that as Amino A is animal protein derived, ADM are concerned about the risk, however small, of prion protein contamination (CJD vector)

Bridgeway, being plant derived, should be OK, but it might be as well to check......maybe its something else ADM are worried about.

Ah, that great epidemic of New Variant CJD that was going to kill all us beef eaters, including John Gummer's daughter...

Do they ban Fibrophos too? That's meat & bone meal but no foliar applied.

Fibrophos vs animal derived amino acids. The latter are recommended / pushed at all growth stages but especially ahead of stress / intense growth. It is the ear emergance and later applictions in a dry scenario that are really going to make the buyer nervous...

To be fair, if i was a grain buyer, i wouldn't consider the risk reward ratio worth it either.

Clive is very quiet on his results.
I can only conclude that the results aren't what he wants to publish, or he's still too busy (he has been on plenty of other threads recently though).

I think @Clive is realising that without the use of a triton drill the product is useless, he is probably trying to get them to build a 36m one for his ctf system and so he can pull it with a 240hp tractor.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
