not the case - loss adjuster works for (is paid by) the underwriter and they are incentivised to minimise the claim

i would rather have an underwriter working for me and 100% in my best interest

i fell out big time with a NFU Mutual loss adjuster years ago who was trying to find anyway he could to reduce the replacement value and additional costs we incurred after a grain dryer fire

with our Acres policy this service cost so little extra its a no brainier

Completely untrue.
Broker works on behalf of the client. A tied agent works for the Insurer. Having your own loss adjustor working for you is very useful when dealing with larger more complex claims i.e loss of a range of farm buildings in a fire, loss of a listed building etc.
