The pto stopping when you get off the seat (there will be an extra button to press to keep it engaged for when you get out if filling a tanker etc). It’s part of the new eu mother regulations. Things like the 2 mirrors on each arm now etc are all included. All brands of new tractors have these things now..

I found that about the steering wheel now you mention it! I found that she wanted to pull the the left every so slightly going down the road at 50k to. Mentioned it to southern harvesters and they didn’t seem to think anything was wrong with it!

Do u know which button? Couldn’t see anything in book about it . I just start it from the fender switch but my dad is old school and likes to clamber back in and put on in cab

Just the ergonomics of the seat to steering wheel seem wrong . The steering column needs more tilt angle and it would be totally different driving experience. I’ve actually a bit of Back ache tonight and I think it’s the position I’ve been driving it

There will be a way round that, plenty of jobs needing stationary PTO power without a man in the seat. Press a button or press the PTO button for longer. Your Claas dealer will be able to advise.

What seat is in them now? The one I had was a Sears and none of us could get comfy in it compared to a grammar in the JD anyone who drove it always complained of a sore back afterwards

I've had an Ares and two Arions a 620c and a 610cis. All of them had cab suspension only. I've now got a Case Maxxum and a Puma and the seating and driving position in the CNH cab is vastly superior to the Claas for me anyway as I'm six foot four tall. The ride quality is also a lot better but I've never driven a Claas tractor with front axle suspension.

Do Claas use the new axle suspension on both the 600 and 500 series? Asking as it's the same setup that both Massey and Valtra use, yet neither of them use it on their 4 cylinder tractors.

I really like the idea of a Claas Arion, great suspension, gearbox and a well layed out, good sized cab. Also an option of a 5 year warranty. The huge issue for me is the depreciation, been hearing they're not worth much at trade-in, or has 2nd hand value improved on new models?

Axle suspension is new on both 500/600 .You can have it on 400 now aswell.Done away with the complicated suspension with all the 24 grease points.or whatever it was.
