A good design that worked well ,simple and practical i’m convinced that some of this modern stuff is none of these, modern tractors have no character about them.may as well but a electric engine in them and a robot in the seat.It was the best design, as is evident by the sheer number produced worldwide since basicly the 100 series introduction
JCB plus a CNH assembly shed, for now. Lots of fairly low tech trailer fabricators. Teagle.People may laugh, but at least they have an industry, what have we got???? Imports!
Not forgetting the pinacle of reliability that is jlrJCB plus a CNH assembly shed, for now. Lots of fairly low tech trailer fabricators. Teagle.
A fairly sad state of afairs.
I have UK built New Holland tractors, a JCB telehandler, Househam Sprayers, Standen potato equipment, Jones bedformers and a Teagle muckspreader from UK manufacturers who are still in business. There’s still plenty of good UK made stuff if you you want it. I have also got a load of stuff from manufacturers who have gone under such as Dowdeswell, Simba , Kidd , AS and Wooton trailers and it’s still perfectly adequate.JCB plus a CNH assembly shed, for now. only with one arm the other was leaning in the mudguard.......and nearly all 2wd.....and to get them to the other side of the field, you had to hold that round thing in the middle that steered the front wheels
Yes but it’s not the same. No muck spreaders we still have 3,4 and 7 tonne. They were special machines in their day.Kidd is up and running again. https://www.kiddfarmmachinery.com/

Absolutely all over the place that’s why the council have no money, 10 people in the office and one using a brush . and I guess every single public company is the same..It will be top heavy like most places in the UK are going these days.
The offices will be stacked out with employees way more than they used to be! where the lads on the shopfloor/at the coal face will have dwindled.
Well do you not realise that diversity officers are crucial to the organisationAbsolutely all over the place that’s why the council have no money, 10 people in the office and one using a brush . and I guess every single public company is the same..
