Isn't it something like the richest 1% are responsible for double the emissions of the poorest 50%?
It's always that 1% banging on about how its everyone else's fault though.
They spaff carbon into the atmosphere for fun and then pay some peasant to plant a tree for them, to make it ok.

Send Greta, Attenborough and the rest of them on a one way trip to the Amazon rainforest, tell them not to cut the trees down or eat meat and backload the plane with the locals to lift them out of poverty. (y)

Except the peasant will be evicted off the land first so the rich man gets paid to plant the tree.

Clarkson has the ability to get to the nub of an issue, I reckon his program might have gone some way to exposing the petty bureaucracy that the industry faces.

His interview with FW made me laugh, he said that for every person in a pickup turning up to do something at the farm, there was someone in a ("low ambition") Vauxhall to tell them they couldn't do it.
