Hi,

Could anyone please help me know what this missing shroud part is called please so that I can order a replacement for the cab. The other side is a rubber shroud if that helps:

Also, could someone please let me know what this switch on the dash is for, plus the plus and minus adjuster of the right hind side panel, plus the pedal on just behind the throttle pedal (it has a fold down plate):

Cab is a bit cleaner now :)

I'm going to guess that the electric switch of for four wheel drive, and the pedal is a differential lock for the rear wheels. No idea about the other two, sorry.

Might be worth getting the thread title changed to reflect the make/ model of tractor?

Dash switch is 4 wheel drive
Min max is hydraulic system.
Min is effectively position control, keeps implement at constant depth/height. Max is full draft control, for soil engaging implements and should maintain fairly constant depth but will raise eg, plough slightly in response to increasing draft requirement via lower link sensing. Between both settings gives a mix of both functions, normally plough about 2/3 way up that quadrant.
I'll also guess diff lock although never seen it on a pedal on my 3050 tractors, which have a hand operated push down handle specifically designed to dig into your calf muscle as you turn tour seating position to the left going back up the furrow.

Thankyou - have changed the title to reflect model.

So does the pedal operate a switch to turn diff lock on - or do you need to hold it down to keep it engaged?

Many thanks. So am I correct in assuming that switch operates a solenoid to operate 4wd then?

3050 arrangement showing calf killer.
Have a rummage under the cab for a linkage, it wont be a solenoid. Push pedal down when diff lock required and it should clonk as it engages, and remain engaged until wheel speeds realign and then release. If diff lock requirement is intermittent you may have to keep pedal pressed.
Sometimes have to turn a bit left or right to operate diff a little to get them to disengage.
Re 4wd, occasionally mine will not engage and so turning the ign key off for a second, and then back on again kicks it in. 4wd is engaged when tractor stopped and ignition is off, releases when ignition on and engine starts.

So with the 4wd switch - do I need to be stopped to operate it to avoid damage to internals? Also - do I understand you correctly that when I turn the tractor off - the 4wd engages, then it disengages when the ignition is switched on?

4wd switch can be put on and off on the move. I would leave the slide on min setting unless you are doing draft work which requires it. Certain implements will rise too high and banana your top link if left in max. The foot pedal is a diff lock which should stay in once engaged. If it doesn’t you may need to clear more of the soil out from under the pedal. If you go onto jD online parts you should be able to find part numbers and prices for the rubber gator that covers the lift arm.
