Anyone started to move any? Or still storing. Know of one selling at 380 last week and 400 this.

£10 a bag! Good money if you can get it! Ramos and Eurostar both leaving here at £325. Cheating the screens a bit on a 42mm bottom size.

Rain fast in minutes,
Very effective,
Fast to cover the ground.

Makes farming to easy, ban it !

So now left with Gozia & Spotlight.
More expensive,
Slower working,
Less effective ( stems only )

Another sad day.

Think of the environmental impact of running those butterfly toppers burning a lot of diesel! Especially in a rank green crop of markies!!

Topping is not a good idea in a wet year, leaves the drills full of sloppy wheelings

Not a good idea if the crop is full of blackleg either.

Usually need something to open the crop up before flailing. Reduces the stress and shock on the tubers.
Nothing as good as diquat for this.

Sulphuric acid was brilliant but it was unforgiving on anything it touched.

I heard last night of a chap getting £320pt bulk for spuds that are full of secondary growth. I don’t know what variety, but he only usually grows chipping potatoes.

Just noticed that, need to stock up! I've found spotlight to be hopeless and the other one, harvest, wasn't approved for kerrs pinks

A... they won't be able to peel the dollies.
B... the dollies will have different fry colours.

TBH I find it hard to believe too, chap who told me is the cousin of the seller. So who knows? Could be some leg lifting going on?

The dollies definitely have variable fry colours! Sometimes leave a sugary streak through the tubers too.

Yet another challenge for the season.
