To be fair I've had a pair and they do last, but I find them sweaty and heavy, I walk a lot in the winter months in welliesWell mine have lasted better than anything else I’ve tried so far. That’s all I’m bothered about; need to be comfy too.
Schoeffel is just part of a uniform worn by people that *desperately* want to identify and 'fit in' as part of a tribe or organisation.
Same goes with the dress codes and tribalism found with football fans, Goths, vegans, 'crusties', LGBTQ+, Hitler Youth, etc etc.

Actually, I’ve got some cream chinos, and there far comfier than jeans . Mind you, I’m not convinced the colour makes much difference.Don’t forget the cream chinos, I call them thousand acre trousers
