Have just bought a 14 plate steer ready CVX 230. Don't need section control etc, just steerage. It has a 700 screen, roof plate and valves. Looking for some advice please?

You will need a cnh/ trimble dome 372 and also a nav controller if you want to use your existing screen.
Do you have any other tractors with gps systems as you could use them with a bridge link

Thanks Del Boy. No other GPS on the place. First step into it. Nearly blown whole budget on getting the right tractor but steering essential so trying to work out what I need and try and find it.

Ask your local dealer for any 2nd hand systems but unlikely . Gps domes and nav controllers do pop up on ebay now and again. A new dome and nav controller you'll be looking to pay 6 to 8k im afraid so not cheap plus about £280 a year subscription fee for rtx rangepoint which is plenty good enough for most jobs

Thanks again. Will the 252 receiver do the job?
Have asked dealer to look at second hand stock. Also asked another if he has a second hand system that doesn't necessarily use the 700 screen but would be cheaper.

Im not too sure on the 252 receiver. The reciever is the cheap bit, the nav controllers are very expensive. Using the screen you have will save you some money as you wont need another screen, can run it all through that.

I’m looking for something similar tractor wise. How many hours and how much? Pm if you wish.

I’d look at the John Deere system and buy a steer kit from solsteer. We’ve a New Holland with it on. Worked out cheaper to buy the Deere kit.

What new holland Tractor you running the sf system on?
We've got a t7315 with the solsteer bridge link running a sf6000 dome. Its ok but not as good as the sf on the john deere or the trimble system on the new holland, not as refined as the proper system i find but still alot better than driving by eye

It’s on a t7.245. I did lots of research, seemed the Trimble needed lots of extra things to really make it work. The Deere system is good but you’re right it’s not as refined. I accept less refinement for the cost saving.
