He is a politician whose aim was to get elected anyway possible and I honestly don't think he has any morals or real beliefs his aim is to be popular anyway possible and whilst i like the Swiss model of referendums the truth is that in democracies the thick people's vote is worth as much as the clever people's. I am as much to blame as anyone as I thought people like Johnson and Trump etc would be a breath of fresh air when in fact they are far more corrupt than what went before.

Trump never wavered, you are having me on. His stance on covid was all over the shop, and just look at North Korea, worst enemy, great friend , terrible enemy etc etc
