Bought a tractor that has a Trimble auto steer system already fitted, it’s a 750 screen, Trimble steering wheel with nav 900 unlocked to Centrepoint fast, thinking of selling but does anyone know what they are worth as haven’t a clue what to advertise it for

Why sell it unless your going to replace it with a better system. Any system now isn’t going to be cheap.
is it a gfx 750 which I assume it would be with the nav 900. Or the older cfx/fm 750.

Gfx 750, reason being to use it with speed below 2kph it needs another unlock which is £4k and seen field bee do a model which can do the same and with a fraction of the subscription cost

Reason enough. I’d be interested in what that’s also worth. Have a new in box gfx750 and the 900 nav that came with a sprayer I bought.

I guess that's your price point then- it's got to be a bit less than a new field bee system to tempt someone. I'm potentially in the market for a system for a spare older tractor but if a new field bee system is £2.6k for RTK accuracy and new with warranty any 2nd kit would need to be a good bit less.

We have Trimble NAV 900 and gfx 750 screen and centre point rtx . I’ve just paid the subscription which was about £1500. We’ve got a Field bee system on another tractor and it’s as good if not better and much cheaper. I’m not sure I’d pay more for a second hand Trimble system than a new Fieldbee.

You fellas paying £1,000/£1,500 for CenterPoint subscriptions should try shopping around.
You can get it for £625.

Nice try.
😂 Anything constructive to say on the value and are my points not valid?

If I was to buy a used system it would only be from someone I knew and could verify it worked properly or from a dealer as would feel it wouldn’t be fair pestering a dealer for any support required to get a system working that I’d purchased elsewhere.

Trimble will sell second hand for at least 50% of the new price, and if 'nearly new'/ year old / very tidy, and unlocked, for two thirds of new price all day long.

I hear what you're saying about Field Bee being equivalent to Trimble, and you may well be right. But in terms of perception, there are plenty of Trimble users looking to upgrade to newer systems that will happily stick with the brand they know, especially as the GFX is backwards compatible with the likes of EZ Steer etc, so can be easily integrated into existing installs. Don't forget that the OP looks like he's got EZ Pilot if not EZ Pilot Pro, and the Centrepoint unlock, if 'fitted', will add value (not that I'd go past standard RTX to get to Centrepoint), and the Nav900 option aint cheap. Plus the GFX has a few tricks up it's sleeve like ISOBUS control (but if it means another unlock, then sod that).
- You pays you money, you takes your choice.

But as I said, nice try at low balling the price... 😂

Yes you can. I started looking around and found it on line for £ 650. Unfortunately I'd bought mine this year through our dealer. Then I started pricing up my system and I reckon it's around £ 8000. We paid a lot more through a dealer. You live and learn.

My trimble is only rangepoint, will drive in a straight line ok,but, the lines are never in the same place,
tractor just a year old, big newest screen, think nav 900, will it be able to go to centrepoint fast without any big costs?

If its like the older cfx750 screen you will need 2 unlock codes. One to omnistar level (which you can use centrepoint standard sub with), then another unlock to rtk level which you need for centrepoint fast.
I got an unlock for my 750 to the standard level (cost £500 from new holland dealer that was changing brands, should have been nearer £1400!!) And I took a centrepoint standard sub for £625 to see how much better than rangepoint it was.
Conclusion is disappointing. Takes an age to get signal and if you go near a tree can take quite a while to come back. I think you need to go to rtk or centrepoint fast. I have rtk on another tractor and signal is fast coming on and comes back quickly if near a tree.

I spoke with the guys at vantage uk really good to talk to and they can remote access your system and tell you if there’s any problems with it and sort them out while you watch them do it on your screen. They will be able to tell you what the cost etc will be if it needs upgrading I’d say

Thinking the same, mine is a Case IH branded one but with them now tied in with Raven thats going to make it unnecessary for them to be up to speed with Trimble, I cant get mine to count acres , the calculate area switch when guidance is operative is in the on position , still nowt.

Waiting on my dealer as my tractor is due some sort of update , Have looked on Vantage website and centrepoint fast is supposed to come back on fast under trees ect and A B lines the same place next year even.
But is your centrepoint accurate re tramline widths?
Good to know that Vantage could upgrade my machine remotely if needed.
Case puma.

I have Centerpoint Fast on my sprayer. We don’t put tramlines in with the drill so steering is all done by GPS. In the real world there is minimal difference between Centerpoint and RTK.
It’s a great system, but I am slowly moving across to AgOpenGPS although the sprayer will likely be the last bit of machinery to get to the top of the list
