FCA serves RBS Libor trader with ban and £250,000 fine - Citywire. The amount of times I herd Karen Philips crack on about Libor almost makes me think she was part of conspiracy perhaps she was taken in along with rest banking structure!!

Commercial First.
Terms and conditions.

If at any time the Lender cannot determine or ascertain LIBOR,the lender will determine a reasonable alternative basis for calculating the interest rate for the loan.

I think we can safely assume now that the manipulation of LIBOR was just another tool for the banks and traders to exploit anybody they could, regardless.

But then down Bristol way there is a marked reluctance of Police to investigate any sort of financial fraud, and a great desire to stop other forces investigating what they will not.
We'll see,the one I've got now is unlikely to be 'on the square' ,unless of course she grows a pair, but she seems very good at the stony silence,a trademark of modern policing a la Portishead :(
