See there is a new Home Secretary, Sajid Javid. Is he not the one who in October 2015 when Business Secretary instructed the Insolvency Service to investigate Acorn/Phillips activities?

I hope so, shame to see Ms Rudd going rather a victim of legacy problems I believe . As Home Secretary she certainly made the right decisions to sort out other legacy issues;), interesting times ahead(y).

This is significant,as are the links between Lloyds and The UK Group of companies, not just the obvious ones such as Peter Sobey,Mark Lucas, but the Hill Samuel connections of old are equally important. Kivells have sold a large amount of property for both Lloyds and UKAF etc on the direction of Nick Burd of Luscombe Trehane,JJ Morris likewise.Lawyer secondments to Lloyds have also given rise to concern in some quarters.I rather suspect that the NCA,when faced with the enormity of this might carry out a token investigation, possibly into Corporate Jet Services,as suggested by James Hurley. The conundrum in all this is,would it be in the public interest for Lloyds to fail against the possibility that this would happen as a result of a full investigation.I would suggest that the NCA like all investigative authorities will take the easy option and decide the former, blaming cost and lack of manpower rather than lack of appetite.

Agree about the links, but its not the whole of Lloyds bank that is corrupt, just a small part of it. And though the share price might temporarily dip as a result of any action the bank certainly wont fail. For the authorities to claim otherwise is just an excuse and must not be tolerated. Neither must it be accepted that other businesses can hide from investigation behind this excuse.
Now it looks like something may be happening, instead of assuming its another false dawn we must keep telling the world and those who think they rule the world, that this huge injustice must be put right.

It might be larger than we might think given the reluctance of the bank hierarchy to hang out to dry those responsible in the Business Support Unit.It is perfectly clear that in the bonus driven environment greed ruled over law, lying to the courts, authorities, other government bodies ,was part of their dash for cash. Exposure of their criminality will certainly damage the brand, possibly worse.

Don't think that'll be worrying Des too much at the moment..............too busy rehearsing his lead part in the pantomime 'Jack and the Lendy Boys swap their beans for a Tin Shed'
Next performance tomorrow.
Do we know yet if the star of day turned up, or is he still ill.
Is he still well enough to drive that Range Rover, has he been sighted?

Questioning whether it was a case of "fling the bling" as bush telegraph report the old Beemer 7 series is back on the road as the Toad mobile?
I'd heard the same, perhaps he's not getting very good introducers fees from the KD Group Ltd.
Another victim came on board yesterday, same old story, thought he'd met Father Xmas when he met Phillips.

By "introducer fees" do you mean, undisclosed commissions in common parlance bribes?
We all now know Des can't seem to manage on the eyewatering fees he openly charges his "customers", assuring them they assure his loyalty to them.
Makes you wonder where the money went, either offshore or does Des have an expensive secret vice like most of the rest of these banksters.
It really is time this behaviour is dealt with.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
