Kevin Hollinrake, a Conservative, says regulators are not willing to take action against those responsible for scandals at Lloyds, RBS and HBOS.

May says the Financial Conduct Authority has reported on RBS. And events at HBOS constituted criminal activity. It is right that these matters are investigated.

Rumour has it that Toad is still lurking in the Tin Shed and that lending will be resumed as normal in a few weeks.
One has to speculate that a nominee is lined up the rent the Tin Shed for the spawn of Toad to operate from, and of course for the same nominee to ultimately buy said Tin Shed for a knockdown price.
Lendy take note, and Farmers needing finance beware!

Well given the history of this building and the character of the persons behind this saga lets hope this time Lendy appreciates the need to do true Due Diligence.
Or they could well find themselves in the same situation as they are now a few months down the line. I wonder what the investors would make of that.

I can't hardly believe that the FCA has gone all this time barely talking to the Insolvency Service, better it was a tripartite agreement with HMRC as well.Des Phillips,.............now that could be a very long conversation:eek:
Maybe the Insolvency service should strengthen its relationship with NCA and SFO as well.
As for Des Phillips they probably have a whole department dedicated to him already.
