The longest pump we do is 3000m but it’s all small fields,8/12ac if your lucky,but the norm is 6ac down to 2ac

Blinking heck We dont even bother with anything under 10ac if its under that we do with tanker and dribble bar

We normally have a big pump from the AD Plant pumping up to 5 miles on a ring main to the fields to a nurse tank then spread from there fields range from 15ac to 150ac average field size is 60ac

Hourly rate if the pump is on or off,we couldn’t do it by the cube here.
Be lucky to do 280k gallon a day with field moves.
If you went by road with tanker and dribble bar it be a good 4 mile each way,we can cut over two rivers and under a road and do 260ac block in 3 days with umbilical at 3000 gallon to the ac.
No farm down here is the same,some places we will have tankers running to nurse tank and do 100ac block like that.
It keeps it varied!!
