Warranty work

By no way is this a slur on the dealer, they're doing all they can, are very helpful and good to deal with.

Had a blue tractor engine blow up a few weeks ago, fine, under warranty.
But why the hell does the manufacturer insist the old engine is removed and fully stripped down before they will send out a replacement engine?

Seems like a very slow process and it's very inconvenient to be without the tractor at this time of year especially.

Anyone else experience this?

Probably looking for a excuse to get out of paying out warranty claim.

What hours is on it? Got me nervous now!

Warranty out on mine.

Keep the pressure on new holland. We were let down badly by a blue warranty that should have been covered. Phone their “care” number and get an email chain going would be my advice as they wriggled out of ours as they said too long a period had lapsed while the dealers did nothing to push it.

Cnh warranty doesnt seem worth a tap brakes bled on 2 year old 1000 hrs puma cvx 3 times not covered as brakes are a wearing part?

No disrespect meant here but why would brakes be warranty? When often trailers brakes or driving style are often the cause of premature failure.

Warranty is to replace failed parts due to manufacturing defect only.

Anything more is good will.

I guess CNH will not agree to a brand new engine until the dealer has evidenced what failed. The dealer is trying to claim money/repair work on your behalf I guess, is that how it works?

Friend's Claas telehandler had an engine blow up in the first 500 hours from memory but Claas dealer loaned him a machine for a time and Claas replaced the engine under warranty pretty quick.
