Free up Agriculture, stop roll over, stop grants that keep business just alive to produce cheap food. Review contracts ie egg and pig. Maintain the same standard on all imported food (either reduce standard of home produce or increase stand if important ~ I think they call it levelling up!)
Give farmers their head, if some go bust so be it. It’s called capitalism!!

limited to just one thing, i would go either, they cut payments and remove regulation from farming completely, or just pay out on the first 60-100 ha of any farms area inflation linked at BPS levels, and just limit regulation to that area of land, with cross compliance type rules.
as a by product you can, cut all funding to other non farming recipients of farming's budget, as it only pays out to farmers, then cut DEFRA down by 95%

the reality is they will never remove regulation, they love regulation so option 2.

The correct answer would be something along the lines of dismantling the AHDB and replacing it with a marketing board for each sector run by marketing professionals under farmer guidance and reverse the huge power imbalance between producers and retailers.
Fair returns and proper market pricing would solve most of the countries problems.

Support / remove regulation for new small business food processors. A healthy food processing sector is the best thing for agriculture giving competition for primary agriculture produce.
