When will it stop raining

I did think about starting a thread of "When will it ever rain"!
We had less than 12 mm in July and only 7 mm in these so called thunderstorms this month.

Every day rain is forecast and it is hot and humid and look as if it will pour down any moment, but then it clears again.
There are stories of isolated showers, but the majority of the south east is still in severe drought with no grass growth at all.

Many of the lambs we are selling now have only ever had rain on there backs twice since April!!
We need to move North apparently. And we shouldn't be on this thread anyway

you not had any this morning? Look to be plenty of showers on the radar in your area this morning.
Only a small amount of very light drizzle here so far
None this morning. A 3 minute light rain just a moment ago

I'm feeding haylage and my yearling Belt bull (applied for inspection) is just going berluddy backwards, his head is big but he's not fleshing and it's damned depressing. Same last Summer.
If your bull is going backwards he needs feeding. That is the age to get them to grow. We are buffer feeding ped simmental cows spring barley straw and molasses, calves on creep a bit earlier this year. Any youngstock with a lack of good grass well not grow frame in a drought so need extra grub. (y)

Seemed a good a place as any to post.

Just reviewing rainfall data from my weather station and the longest dry spell we had since the 1st of June is 7 days in September then a 5 in July and 3 in August.
Glad I didn’t have corn to harvest this year
