Anyone else got winter wheat not responding to manganese treatment. It is green but very pale.Tested soil not short of anything.
Does the field usually receive a manganese spray, could you put up some pictures? What is the soil type? Lots of wheats on heavy soils look awful.

Hard to tell from the photos but I suspect Magnesium deficiency. Have you experienced Magnesium deficiency previously in the field? Has the crop recently had a big dose of Potassium? If the crop were mine I would probably get a decent dose of bittersalts on ASAP, but perhaps leave a small untreated area as a control. Some sunshine might be all it requires.

Magnesium def. Light/sandy soils notorious for this. May be more pronounced in areas where seed/soil contact or rooting is poor or a pan is present.

Yara MagPhosK for you in future. The phosphate will also be useful in a cold spring as it gives the roots a kick in the arsh.
