Hi guys. So 60 million dollar question that some people will have suggestions to help me. I'm getting sick of repairing my 2 drum 7'6" Tera Dalimano mower. (Italian). We have a Belair 2740 zero grazer which is a great machine except for the drum mower.
So I looking for advice on how to get a 8 ft approx 6 disc, must be driven down through the end top hat and I reckon we need to get the 3 discs at each side all turning in the same direction inwards to bring the grass into the centre. Possibly with two top hats at each end (4 in total). I'm thinking comer possibly do a bed with some of my requirements or the modular bed on the 530 John deere 530 mower I think but I am only a farmer and not any expert. However 10ft is much to wide. 7 foot 6 to 8 would probably be ideal. I have to drive the bed within the width of the machine so that in transport it's not any wider than approx 8 feet. No body has told me that this will work but I notice nearly all of the new irish zero grazers are gone away from the drum mower and all using disc mowers. This could be a bit of winter project if I get the right components and someone to help me put it all together.
