Looks like the deals done. Texts going out to the local lads from the supposed new man, a quick google search of him throws up some interesting reading.

See post 159 +170. Unfortunately l have heard far to many times that mr Teflon( as in non stick) Edward Swindells has secured the market. Hope to be proven wrong.God forbid if it’s right as it will definitely be the finish of Ncm.please somebody put us out off our misery

The rumour mill says it was a done deal with town and country who he works for but there has been a massive backlash from the local cattle farmers to stop it happening

Surely, if 'the deal has been done' it should be Newark & Sherwood council that make the announcement, not whoever 'thinks' he's the new man sending out some random texts :scratchhead:

I see it's 10 days since you posted that. I know the wheels of local government grind very slowly but it looks like the 'deal maybe hasn't been done' yet :scratchhead:

The deal's not done till the new guy holds the first sale, IMO
