I decided to tidy things up in our feedstore and put up about 20ft of shelving along one wall. It was commandeered by HQ who decided this was ideal for all her empty jam and chutney jars, dozens of them. A few weeks later we had a" wocka-wocka" fly very low over the house. If you're old enough to remember the noise milk floats used to make returning the empties to the dairy you would have recognised the sound of glass bottles chinking. I rushed into the feedstore where the jars were dancing about on the shelf and went from one end to the other trying to keep them on there, several fell off, but I don't think any were broken. You could see why they could put the wind up the Taliban.
