I was always lead to believe every extra day a crop was kept green for was extra photosynthesis and extra yield.

I seem to remember Bill Clark saying as much on his Cereals Diseases course, upto the point of peak DM, which I thought was around soft dough stage GS85.

You guys live in farming heaven... come across the water and we will educate ye about fusarium and septoria !! However this year we have had a very dry time also but that could all change yet ! I believe after the winter we’ve had and now a drought, I believe anything is possible.. I didn’t even mention @ “pandemic” ??

It maybe sales patter but it works here, a strobe along with epsotop at t3 has raised bushels a lot and increased yield.
