But, beieve me, before all this GPS stuff, there were blokes who could do it by eye.

Plenty of 100 acre fields in Lincolnshire were drilled 'gun barrel straight' when all we had were Ford 5000's and MF 30's.
I suppose having a lot of root crops got us into the 'habit'.
Nothing looks better that a newly emerged crop in dead straight rows.

Ploughing for trees years ago, "sinuous lines " the man wanted so I started with a stretched out S down the one side , by the time I was halfway across the bloody thing was straight

It is not the GPS that is the problem, it is everything else, parts, price lists,stock, warranty, everything that is web based , other companies are John Deere, Man, and a lot more but these companies are not shut right down

Some manufacturers can shut down equipment remotely! I hope they have that part of the system very secure or could be combines no go at harvest!

Even thinking is down at the moment, parts list ,etc and no one has paper ones now so unless you have the part number you are going to find it hard work, dealership are doing a great job keeping things going at the moment

I can also see how many they have it in stock and order accordingly.

I'd guess that's the dealer's own version. Looks a better system. The one i was using is a global site that covers all models but doesn't give prices or no.s available. Use to be able to get the part no. from it and then contact a dealer after.

Aye same here just getting the invalid login notice, Hamilton Bros are none the wiser.

It wasn't the mobile version I was using. I think I tried the mobile app a while back and deleted it again as it was useless.

I use the mobile app on phone and it has worked all the way through. Can look any part for any machine on the system.

I went to ag college with a lad who had the same theory - it is actually true as long as the wiggles don't deviate more than the row width
