AGCO cyber attack

It looks really good and I like to see it (however it's done)

But, beieve me, before all this GPS stuff, there were blokes who could do it by eye.

Plenty of 100 acre fields in Lincolnshire were drilled 'gun barrel straight' when all we had were Ford 5000's and MF 30's.
I suppose having a lot of root crops got us into the 'habit'.
Nothing looks better that a newly emerged crop in dead straight rows.

Yes, people could drill very straight, but not with 12m drills and 18 row planters both of which have no bout markers they couldn't.

Would this be why the box of filters I fetched back from the Massey dealer last week, on closer inspection don't all seem to be the ones I was expecting? He did say something about the tractor serial number I provided not being useful to him at the moment, when it always was previously. The problem with my model of tractor is Massey had at least three different back end filter sets, on my tractor comprising of 3 filters, depends on your gearbox options and age of machine I guess.

I use the mobile app on phone and it has worked all the way through. Can look any part for any machine on the system.

don’t get why others are struggling with it
My local dealer said that Russia and Australia were unaffected by the cyber attack. We can all imagine why Russia was unaffected, presumably Australia was just lucky?

ur local dealer hasn’t a clue if he thinks that for australia. No idea about Russia.

No parts systems on agco side, Fendt connect app was offline, can’t order new machines as can’t access the system for pricing and spec. I’m working with them on some software which was offline for weeks.

some not very happy dealers and customers but nothing can be done about it.

I think lance said, ( Australian dude) agco wil have a new physical computer in every spares department ,more modern online security, so 100s of computers, that will take time eh

Its a nightmare in Australia to, spare parts are back to pen and paper from what l am told. l do all my annual servicing this time of the year and have been waiting weeks just for filters.

So, anyone with access to the AGCO parts book do me a favour please?

Look up "AGACV0216750 Control Unit" and tell me if this is an electric valve head for a Valtra N4 midmount?
