I would have offerd you some Angus bulling heifers but I’ve sold them to a guy putting limmys off , you could buy them off him but you would soon be back to sheep lol

The ‘future’ is surely rearing dairy x beef, even if then sold on for finishing if needs be? Is there really a future in keeping suckler cows, especially ones that produce a product that isn’t much better than dairy x beef anyway?

Alternatively, watch while everyone else follows Useless Eustice’s well thought out advice, and crack on regardless?

If the future is dairy X beef then we'll all end up rearing jersey X bull calves

Doing what everyone else is doing has never been a wise future plan imo.

Beef job used to be aligned with dairy job until the dreaded Holstein appeared and we went our separate ways, never regretted it my self.
