Couple new Pottingers in this area, 6 and 4m. Front tank, grain and fert, been terrible machines. Wouldn't entertain one.

Both seem to meter seed intermittently. Manufacturer doesn't seem to to have worked out what problem is.

4m one snapped contractors lwb new holland in half last week. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah I agree. They've still both been poor performing machines.
That intermittent seeding seems weird. There is always an answer to a problem like that whether it's sorted by the operator or pottinger service rep. That's if anyone wants to get to the bottom of it. I wouldn't accept that it's not solvable.

Yeah definitely. Both operators/owners are switched on conscientious guys.

Been a difficult year, took a long time to dry up then when it did everyone was in a massive rush.

Hope they get to the bottom of it. Not good for autumn drilling if manufacturer hasn't identified issue. Operator and customers they drill for aren't going to want to use machine.

I had a 4m lemken folding one pass drill years ago, it was even heavier with the hopper on back
It used to seed intermittently too.
I took the electric metering lemken hopper off and put a land wheel driven amazone hopper on fromt
