@MKR If you'd still like to see that FW article, it was in the 19th June edition, in the Machinery section.
Thanks, Googled that again and noticed I already did it a while ago so already read it. Is there full articles on the internet or the actual printed magazine gives you more information?

Farm TRX with moisture sensor purchased, hope to start harvesting this week. Looking forward to see how it performs.

Be interested to hear how you get on with the moisture sensor, we haven’t got that plug-in.
Interesting to see. The recommended installing position together with higher moisture content when combining here in Finland can lead to problems in keeping the moisture sensor clean. Let's see how it goes. So far very dry this season, and yesterday it started raining when the first oats would have been almost ready for harvesting... Forecasts only rain for one week from now on.

The design of the moisture sensor probably makes a difference. I have an RDS (pre GPS mapping) with a moisture sensor at the top of the bubble up auger. It works well most of the time, but damp grain can hand around the sides of the sensor and dostorte the reading till it gets cleaned around.

Hi folks, I installed the Farmtrx this season, terrible issues connecting to the app with Bluetooth, have the moisture sensor also unfortunately sod all data back yet, and no live info while working. The company assured me that the data is on the SD card, so they asked me to email the files from the card, did that and now the files have uploaded to another server! The latest feedback is a new app is being developed and will be ready this week, we got the power looped from the ciggy lighter and is supposed to be an issue according to them so don't do that ! I hope they can sort it out

I'm sure it does if you compare it to buying a new combine with one fitted.
Right, I'd still like to hear some approximate figures.

Do I understand right that this works from an isobus virtual terminal? On the Topcon screen I can see a virtual terminal as well as some other windows showing yield data. The cost of the box would be enough if it works from an external GPS input and on a virtual terminal of an existing screen.

Got this finally installed last week and began to harvest from oats. Installation very easy and straight forward. Only problem was with grain elevator bottom flap. It was really hard steel on my old NH TX32. Managed finally to make 45mm holes and the 5mm bolt holes. The cable harness is a quality product.

After hardware installation, connection with my phone was really easy. First a few firmware updates, then the empty calibration with the threshing on and max rpm. Then the first load for calibration, I got about 10tn of oats and put the values to the calibration on the app. After that you can harvest normally and the app shows you live data all the time and you can see the maps from the web.

No complaints so far.
