The 1st picture , with the JD s was taken at the Lismore silage day , held in July 2016 . Held at Lismore Castle Estate. I was a spectator on the day. A few videos on youtube, There was a "Silage Extravaganza " held at Moyglass , Co Tipperary, at the beginning of August 2015. I attended that with a Single chop Taarup inline harvester , 1959 , I think , behind a Ford 5600. I don't think I was captured on film , but am on several youtube videos from The Dunmore Silage day , August 2012.

71 loves eating fairly big rows of grass as long as its not to dry. in lighter crops the pick up tends to flick the grass forward then goes in a lump. does your 75 do that? any ideals how to changed it?is the pick up speed wrong?

Yes exactly the same I'm afraid, right pain in the arse..
As you said, good crop she fly's along (y)

Could it be the rollers the 75 has infront of the reel?
Crop press? Only the wide pick up had that,2.2m..:(

Still have our old Whylie Buck rake, came new in 86,it's still got its original tynes but there fairly worn out, hitched it up on our new Duncan cabbed 290 at the time, crap tractor was gutless from day one,I blame my dad for never giving it any shoe.

Those pics are at my uncle's place, don't think that wylie even had a double acting ram, he has a twose buckrake now, same size but shifting grass from an 870! Never had a 290 here, dad's always hankered for a wee 230, were big on the 300 series here, when working at silage with uncle we would have 2 399s 2 390s and 4 390ts on the go
