16mm we had here. 2 mile further inland had 25mm. Going from the manitou not marking at all to being glad I’ve got new boots on when putting bales out yesterdayDrought over.
I'm not classing it as perfect, but the end results for W Wheat, S Barley, grass sheep and suckler cows were all good.No rain for 7 weeks in Spring shortened things up really esepcially with the 20 frosts in April last year so i would prefer hot and dry, especially with the roots the winter crops now have.
....and the straw in the swath sold at premium level .....and it's all wet !'kin told you, didn't I ?
