Actually, that would be perfect! How do you find the construction spec out of curiosity?
For what we use it for its fine (loading/unloading grain, fert, seed) its underpowered and slow on road, the headstock geometry is not the best but is ok. Main thing I dont like is it has the construction joystick with buttons but boom raise/tilt is rod operated and you have to move it along way to engage makes it feel "dumb" would give you arm ache if driving long time on bucket work. For the criticisms I have of it no way would they justify the extra for a ag spec machine. Hit me a pm if I can help have a jd could do with a remap as well.

Have an issue with ours 270 as well. No working 3rd service on joystick. Problem is though we struggle to put it off the road for more than a day!

You rate them that highly? Dad used to have a tr200 and I must say it was cracking. I've never gotten on with side shift machines, as per my darling daughters words, I could never get on with the lack of visibility
Ours seems to be an odd one. It has Hurth axles which are bombproof, visibility is not bad, it's powerful enough for it's size and turns on a sixpence. It also tows 12 tonnes of loaded trailer well.

Merlo TF 33.7 here not that far from you she’s still in warranty though plenty of jcb 320’s few scorpions around the area too
The 33.7 is a good handler. Done a few bits with them, but done more with the 42.7.
As to the 320s, now done 3 [emoji23] all for... "fight club" removal and a bit of a boost. Would love to have a play with the scorpions though, got one on the book for next month.

How are you finding the merlo so far @Lofty1984

Few 420s around too now they’d be an animal messed with :ROFLMAO:
Merlo is great the last one was very tired so upgraded one thing I’d change is the lunch box sized fuel tank it’s a pain she won’t do a full day loading spreaders for example with out a drink at some point, does everything we need it too does a fair bit of road work too and is comfortable enough if a little loud in the cab, @d williams could give you an insight into a scorpion if he still has one

Hmm... If you know anyone who'd like a bit of fettling, give them my details [emoji23]

The noisy cab seems to be a recurring thread. A customer had merlo out with their decibel-o-meter and it's was 38db over the quoted figures...

As to the fuel tank, its a shame, I didn't realise they were so small [emoji848]
