We are thinking of putting one pipe down the centre of a 24ft wide lean to, to a depth of approximately 15ft, lean to is 100ft long, so pipe will be 80 to 90ft long, just trying to decide what size pipe and motor to use basically, I’m thinking 150mm pipe is going to be too small, will 225mm be big enough or should I go to 300mm, bigger pipe means bigger motor I guess to get required airflow through the heap.

Not sure if there is a way to calculate required airflow, would be approx 350 to 400 of barley in heap. Any thoughts would be appreciated

It’s a single phase motor, I think we’ve 4that size
Running pipes 300mm upto 450mm upto 25ft deep osr usually in a 120ft long shed I’d put pipes 100ft long
As I said before 2 pipes wide in 50/60ft sheds
