JD filters…How much 😳

WIX are doing more and more Agri Stuff? Anyone using?

Years ago we had wix filters on listed gensets. Stopped using after the filters cracked pumping all the engine oil on the ground

Just doing a full service on my JD 6130R
Went to get all the filters and 2 fuel filters cost £114 + vat

Fyi I spoke to someone yesterday who priced a filter kit up for a 6145r, fell over, asked the cost for it to be serviced, including oils, only £100 more.

Got a full set sitting waiting to go on a case puma 200cvx (6000hr) so will be around £500 as well I would think

Engine oil, 3 fuel (including inline), 2 air, 3 cab, cvx takes 3 hydraulic, Adblue and air brake

Hence , JD is cheaper to service, less filters . Valtra have plenty of filters to change every 600 hrs, makes every service expensive

I notice they have a high level of safety standards ...oem then chargin top dollar for something made in a sweat shop.

Wix is the same as Mann+Hummel. Same group since some time. But cheaper priced than M+H.

I just had invoice through for the filters on my 10 year old 5080m,hydraulic filter £120+vat!!!

Hydraulic filter seems around £87 too high

I've just replaced the filters on my 100hp JD. Prices from John Deere were £376.36, Vapormatic ordered from John Deere were £272.02 and from Nick Young tractor parts £202.84. But the filters I ordered from Nick Young were delivered in a Largo Plant box, so I could probably have saved even more. BTW the filters from NY were all reputable brands.

Depending on whether pattern or OEM they might not be cheap, check out Carpenter Goodwin at Leominster they have a good range of filters including Donaldson.
