Jimny Conversion - Anyone done one?

Anyone done a suzuki jimny conversion to a pick up themselves. Thinking of doing one, anyone got any pictures, hints, tips etc. The good, bad and the ugly please!!! Also anything to avoid when buying a suitable jimny to convert ?

Not DIY, but Cessford Motors of Morebattle in the Borders do a very tidy conversion.
The black 'wrinkle' paint is a proprietary truck bed lining, which is spray applied and supposed to be extremely durable.

Would love one for my Missus, proper off road ability and a fraction of the size of the Ford Ranger, which she hates!

I remember when i was in oz 22 years ago, was on a station north of Broken Hill right on the dog fence. The smithfield depot (one of the maintenance depots of the famous australian dog fence) was one of neighbours. We poped up to see one of the guys working there, and they had just had the delivery of a new suzuki sj chassis cab built in india i think. They liked the little suzuki's as they were light and cheap and we're well suited for running up and down the dog fence for maintenance duties. I was shown the one that had just come in ready to be outfitted for the job. Someone in india had the job of cutting the back body off the suzuki's with a grinder just behind the B pillar and siliconeing a filler plate between the inner and outer panels, biggest hash job i had ever seen.
They did a lot of work to the little suzuki's a flatbed on the back, a large Roo bar on the front extra fuel and water tanks and i think rollover protection too. All done in house and to a very high standard too. Fortunately rust on them isn't a problem out there not like ours here in the UK.
Shame i didn't have my camera that day.

Where i was north of Broken hill on the station, it was approx 4 hrs to town, an hour and a half to the neighbours and 2 hrs to the pub !
Went with the boss and his mates on a riding weekend all off-road or dirt tracks, did 1000km that weekend. The mates had travelled a 1000km from Victoria just to get to the station ! The outback is a huge place ,!!!
