Spoke with the previous owner today, last and only calibration the dealer did was about 5000hours ago, he had always delivred the tractor to the MF dealer for all 400 and 1000hours services.
So i think it is time ))

I spoke with the previous owner who had this 7480 14years before i bought it, i was told that Power Boost switches on over a certain speed under heavy transport or when the electronics feels that pto needs extra power.
I guess this is how it works, i am sure i actualy can feel that the pto sudently deliver extra power to the 2,7m wide snowblower when it really works hard, it "kicks in" and the pto rpm rises.
What do you others say about this ?

I thought the 6400 and 7400 had same engine .
The 6400 had power boost under certain conditions but thought the 7400 ran the power boost all the time
This on t3 not sure about t2

But what is the point with power boost if it is there all the time...then it is an 155hp engine and not an 145hp with +10hp when needed ?...or...just try to think logical:unsure:

That button is for headland management. You press it every time you want the next command to happen in the sequence that’s been programmed in the data screen. Didn’t think 7400 had a boost at all
