Nice ewes @shearerlad, did you go to Dingwall tip sale this year? I take it the attonburn bred the best last year?

No I wasn't up. Spent enough on ewes and last years 3 are still going strong. A couple of my mates were and said it was hard going to get a tup.
The lambs from Attonburn tup stand out so hopefully he will breed some nice females

Yea the start of the sale was really hard to buy, you just had to wait it out, there were a few bargains to be had at the end!

Some of the shed ewes including some from @Top Tip.

Started a couple of years ago with a foundation of Castlegrant cast ewes, did really well coming west. Lambs are by Suisgill and Buchtrig tups, tup lamb is Buchtrig.

You could tell those lambs are well bred! Looking really good, nice and clean with plenty of style and power(y)

Don't be shy, show us some pics of the tups:)

Sad job all round, such a nice bloke was George, he bought some tups for me at Dingwall a couple of years back when i couldn't make it. Cant believe such a young fit bloke is no longer with us

It really is sad. I met George years ago at shearing competitions, and bought some of his draft ewes. Must of been a tough decision for the family to sell the ewes. It’s good to see that buyers were willing to bid keenly for them
