One oil!

We have 6 different tractor makes. All different ages from new to old. We have part used oil drums everywhere all different stuff. Is it possible to get one engine oil and one backend oil that will do them all?

Talk to Neil at Witham Oils.

They went through all our machines and sent us a list of all the recommended oils for every machine with a recommendation of which minimum ones to stock.

Fantastic service from Witham. We have 400 litre tanks for bulk Engine, Back end oil and Hydraulic oil. They come round and top them up when needed - when over 1/2 empty put in 200 litres. They do quite a few of the own brand oils.

As above, most companies will be able to sell you a product that matches the manufacturers specified oil but it's a bit specialist and you do need to know what you are doing or enlist the help of someone who does. I know Shell certainly used to have an online system that would tell you which oil of theirs you needed if you told it the make, model and serial number of a machine. People like Witham and Opie oils (mostly cars or it used to be last time I checked) might do the same thing.
