Globalism .. what a complete failure.

Oh well .. batton down the hatches this is gonna get rough.

I already thought there'd be inflation but this is gonna get nuts.
More likely deflation apart from food if no body can sell stuff apart from food and spares and with loads not working no money to buy stuff

Was thinking about getting on about that .. but to be honest our crops are pretty bad atm.

Not worth spending much on them as they are.

Wont be spending too much but luckily as I do my own agronomy and belong to niab I saved a fair bit of chems from last year and used no T3, we are small scale and grow corn for the straw into the equestrian market so try and ensure we get quality

A lot of people might attempt to grow spring crops .. even if they do grow they won't produce as much as Winter crops.

Message from Carrs Billington today, no customers allowed in there premises,
If you need anything you have to phone and order what you want,
Either booked to an account or pay by card over the phone,
You then go to collect, but must stay in your vehicle and blow the horn, they will then set you order outside the building and go back inside, you then collect your order and go

Definitely inflation in the medium term. For a start the value of the pound has fallen against most currencies. That will make imports (almost everything) more expensive. The money supply has been increased through Quantitive Easing (printing money) to buy government bonds (debt). At the same time the collective output of the economy has fallen so you have more money but less wealth. Every pound is worth less so when things start up prices will rise

Thankfully my stuff is old enough that I can do most repairs myself and weld bits onto

this could suddenly become a very desirable feature !

I think we can keep most stuff we run going ourselves, software issues and diagnosis can usually be sorted remotely as well

sprayer is the biggest concern, very important machine here yet one sensor could stop it if we couldn’t get a replacement or find a work around bodge !

With a lot parts it's suprising what cross references then cross references again and so on... I'm cross referencing stuff and sourcing stuff every day. I'd happily help point someone in the right direction if it would help.
