He's some boy. I've watched a lot of what he's produced, and am yet to see a show I've not enjoyed. Has a really good style of interviewing, and is well worth looking out for.

Has been in, and seen some insane settings and surroundings, having picked himself up from some pretty low places.

Yes,a lot of these programmes are about the ‘angle’ and always tend to be about the narrators agenda,especially the likes of Joanna Lumley.

Simon does give an angle however it is more look at them than look at me.

Steady on Sid, I’m pretty sure Simon Reeve is a country mile from being two faced. As already said on this thread find the programme on his life story; it’s really rather interesting.

As long as they get involved in local community and don't distance themselves then it's all good.

Seen plenty move to the country fence themselves off and away and wonder why they don't feel the community spirt.

Just as well be a second home if its like that.

I think he does balance really well. Most recent example being the Lakes episode this week- thought when he mentioned "sheepwrecked" he'd swallowed the gospel according to Monbiot, but he put both sides across really well I thought.

Unfortunately balance doesn't do well in click bait- that needs extremes, so how long it will be before "balance" costs him his BBC wage I don't know.

Yes,he did say sheepwrecked however did not dwell on it.

The programme did however show the daily battles of genuine farmers who tend the land 365 days of the year.

On balance,pretty balanced.
