How deep do you want to go? Any slopes involved?

Weaving Subdisc, 3m, cheap as chips to run, can put discs into work or leave out, great bit of kit. I will be getting another one when my current one is worn out. A friend borrowed mine for a week in the Spring and went straight out and bought one, he loves it.

It's either a tine, levelling discs and packer or a short disc and packer.

I'd recommend a Horsch Terrano 3FX.

ShortDisc from @Guy? I’ve a 4m folding one that my JD6920 runs quite happily at speed. A 3m is sub-£4K still iirc, and they are built as well as most others on the market (most of which are near identical imports).

Yes, some slopes , and tramlines are not heavily compacted as a rule.

Having pulling a Discordon with about 230hp and struggled I reckon you want at least 250hp for that.

Shakerator with a decent crumbler roller or a heavy pigail with crumbler could do the job or would folk go with a disc type machine ?

Depends on the amount of trash and the drill that will be following.
You cannot go far wrong with a short disc.
