How do you like the competition flails? Do they wear as well as f10

Love them. Would never go back. I keep them sharp and personally think on 1-2 year growth it leaves a good enough finish on one pass

I weighed up getting one but got a tidy cheap
Set of bolt cutters off eBay and a small chisel for when the wire pulls into the gap between the rotor and bearing case,

Pretty good on heavier stuff too. Probably won't do same job as F14's. But the you won't get the finish with them. Think same sort of price as F10's.

yes,............. hitachi because i already had a drill

also use it for sharpening in fieidwith flap wheel

I've changed from f14s to competition flails this time and as said above wouldn't go back. I've cut a fair bit of 4-5 year growth this season with them and they do just as good a job as the f14s on that and far far better on 1-2 years growth.

Must of driven over this loads of times in the past, frame was well rotten. BT engineer said "someones gotta pay for this".... its funny how the first one I reversed over hasn't gone.
