Christ the mechanics that come here with experience are £50/hr, local firm I‘m told are £110/hr but I don’t have first hand knowledge that.
Firms have alot of overheads that a one man band with his van doesnt, thats why they have loads of work and nobody wants or can afford dealerships to fix anything.

i know more farmers who work their backsides off to make ends meet and don't really gain anything for their hard work but appreciate what they have in life and who are happier than farmers who also work there backsides off but don't stop and sacrifice their family, social time. work all hours and days chasing goals but miss out on the only important thing and that's what's at home. they do it for them but no amount of money or making sure Bills/finance is paid can replace or bring back that time.
