Definitely lots of uk bankers fighting for the title of UK most corrupt banker. Problem is finding a court and judge willing to take them on. its so much easier for the judge to become part of the corruption and then deny the right to appeal.

Despite huge discussion on the peer to peer lending forums, the glaring reality is there will be losses to investors, there always would be from the day Lendy jumped into bed with Phillips and he proceeded to pull the covers over their head.
So ,how did he get the money? Simples Sergei,..............he lied.Firstly he lied to get the valuation on Walrow, the flying pig farm, leading the valuer to believe that Brent Farms had purchased it for £650k.Well of course he would argue that was the value that was used for the inter company transaction, but ,as recent attempts to sell it have proved ,rather wide of the mark.
As a business ,Lendy were led to believe that this was the start of something great, luxury pigs ,shipped out at a premium to Waitrose.Whether or not Victor Phillips based his figures on a cash flow projection by old family friend, company stalwart 'Uncle' Paul Johnstone remains to be seen ,but whatever ,it worked,Lendy caught, hook.line and sinker.
Then we have the luxury office property, known by the Lendy investors as The Tin Shed.So how did he get the money? Well, guess what...................he lied.Fortunately,in this case, the valuer stated in his report that he had relied on information given to him by Desmond Phillips, smart move but still rather concerning that anybody reputable should chance getting involved with Phillips for the price of a valuation.
So is it not time for the investigating authorities to put aside their claims of 'foolish borrowing',and take a much closer look at how they amongst others have been hoodwinked by the Phillips bandwagon. After all they're in fairly exalted company,or I would think so,judged by one investors press influence.Certainly wasn't expecting to see an article about an agricultural finance failure in Osborne's rag,but then we don't really know how far the disease has spread.

We know from the evidence of the meeting with Thames Valley who are proctecting the Banks & preventing the likes of A & S from doing a proper investigation along with their links to one of the main perpetrators of these scams which will remain unnamed
Thames Valley have in effect been penalized for doing their job loosing £ 7 million out of their budget

An incredibly sad case, but is it any more sad or deserving than the collective agony of the Victims of HBOS Reading, so why cant the home office stump up for the TVP bill.
Equally the collective agony caused by Des and his many friends and cohorts surely demand that in equity a proper police investigation is funded, not a one-sided "scoping inquiry", with the result decided by those complained about before the ink is dry on the request.
At least with the last two there is a positive result and the prospect of a result.

You would think that these gov organisations were deliberatly set up to be obstructive to the ordinary man,
I recently had reason to call trading standards about a company that i had sent a car part to for repair.
Was told they was not allowed to give out any info, best try CAB, hmmm
Tried the cop shop , after 20 mins being told i was in a que i gave up.
Thankfully the repaired parts arrived home after 2 weeks.
All i wanted was some reassurance that i had not been a victim of a scam.
Turns out the main scam is the agencies purporting to serve the public interest, taking the money from the public purse for doing so,
but having little interest in actually protecting the victims
