I think and hope dealer is trying to solve the problem so not exactly to complain about the dealer. That said the dealer refuses to give us contact details.
bloody frustrating Agco aren’t answering the phone on the main number and social media think I’ll go away if they ignore me !
Thanks to a very helpful chap on here who pm’d me I’ve asked to speak to a name which seems to have woken them up.

Valtra operators tips and tricks Facebook page
Ask on that (y)(y)

we’ve asked on that and we’re told by someone from our dealer today and I quote
“Valtra know you’ve posted on there and don’t care”
This surprised us as we didn’t do it to upset anyone but to be told Valtra don’t care seems very strange.
I’ve tried to speak with someone from Valtra all day and have been promised someone would call me. Sadly no one has.
Ive had a lot of help and advice from kind people on here who sadly seem to care more than the people who should.
Its as I told a chap from the dealer today it’s not a very good advert for Valtra or us that every time we go to do work for someone the tractor lets us down.
There’s so much more I could post but I’m still hoping Valtra will step up to the plate and sort this out.

Very few of the manufacturers these days gives a sh!t. Just goes to show that spending the price of a house on one of their machines means nothing to them. I think a new machine purchase has as much to do with the customer service as it does the machine. It certainly makes me question if I should put my faith in Valtra next time.

I’ve got to be fair we’ve had good service from the dealer and always receive a replacement tractor whilst ours is away so I’m not running the dealer down or Valtra for that. It’s just hugely frustrating that I now have a tractor I can’t trust and the dealer refuses to give me a number to contact Valtra and when I eventually managed to make contact through Facebook they refuse to give me the area mans number and he doesn’t bother to contact me as promised.
In fact they have the audacity to tell me how busy he is !!
I’m bloody busy as well only I’ve got a £100,000 tractor which is sat in the yard out of action.

You haven't had good service from the dealer because they cant fix it.
If they're having problems diagnosing the fault they should be talking to Valtra themselves for technical support. Perhaps they're scared of looking silly?
Can you use another dealer?

They say they’re talking to Valtra.
I could use another dealer but I’d rather the three of us all discussed this and worked together. We all have problems and some problems are hard to sort but if everyone is open and honest and there’s good constructive dialogue I can deal with it.
I wouldn’t run my dealer down at all they’re not perfect but are far better than most I’d say.

Which model is it and how many hours have you on it.

Unfortunately this is the world with a lot of manufacturers. The contempt in which they seem to hold the customer is sometimes staggering. In my experience the more corporate the company the worse it is. We have had dealings with Agco and NH in the past with Agco they didn't seem to care about the customer, With NH they didn't seem to care about the customer or dealer. Quite often the company policy seems to be ignore the customer at all costs. The ''some one will call you'' is a line regularly trotted out but isn't worth the paper it's written on.
